Ready for another epic adventure?

Kids LOVE a challenge, especially one where they can see what the other kids in the studio are doing. 

The Cosmic Scale Challenge Mission Four continues this adventurous spirit of the first three missions found in Cosmic Scale Challenge.

In this fourth mission, students master two-octave major scales. 

AND, they also discover facts about exoplanets, and how scientists use transit and wobble to find them. 

Students are learning science facts, along with music!

When they have successfully completed learning their scales,  they can land their space vehicle and report to Mission Control (that’s you!)

Choose how to launch the adventure

You can choose many ways to use the Cosmic Space Challenge. 

Students can receive the slides

• BEFORE their lesson,

• AFTER their lesson,

• DURING off-bench time

• DURING an online lesson.

Need a refresher?

Have your students forgotten how to make a major scale?  Included in your purchase is a video slide that reviews the concept, plus a reminder of the whole and half-step pattern.

Here’s an example of what a video slide looks like (links provided upon purchase):

Also included are keyboard “maps” like this one.

Students can manipulate the yellow numbers onto the correct keys to show their knowledge of the scales. A slide with the answers is also included so students can self-check!

Keep track of progress

After safely landing, students can report to Mission Control (that’s you!) to demonstrate their scales.  You choose whether to have them send a video report, or an in-person briefing.

To keep track of your students and their progress, included is a digital badge board.

All “pilots” use a checklist during their takeoff and landing procedures.
