This Christmas carol is a popular choice for elementary students because it’s so familiar.

The introduction, reminiscent of the Pachelbel Canon, is arranged in such a manner that each student knows exactly when to come in.  

The melody is shared between the two Primo parts and is slightly easier than the Secondo parts.

Some note names have been added to all the parts to aid students who might need help when reading their music, but the main part of the piece can be played mostly in the Middle C position.
