Are You an Unfinished Masterpiece?

Detail of Atlas Captive by Michelangelo
Michelangelo left a number of his projects unfinished. Although part of the sculpture in the pic to the left appears refined and well-crafted it emerges from a block of roughly hewn stone. The artist was known to describe his practice of carving as "freeing the figure from the marble."
As a pianist do you feel that a portion of your skills are mastered while the other remnants of desired musical skills are begging for release? Do you feel like you are tugging at an old system that has kept your true musicality hidden behind locked doors?
The 2nd annual 88 Creative Keys Camp will emancipate you from the captivity of the printed page and sculpt you into a well-balanced masterpiece!  Master teachers Bradley Sowash and me Leila Viss will provide enlightening IMG_0761activities to help break loose those creative skills for students ages 10-18, teachers and adults
All this sounding a little too heavy? No worries, this year's trend-setting curriculum will be based on those 4 "wonder" chords that continue to rock the pop world and will equip attendees to carve out well-balanced musical skills in any style.
In response to requests from last summer, we have scheduled longer time frames for each camp, allowed extra time to absorb instruction, designed breakout modules to accommodate various age and skill CKC-Leila-and-Bradley-300x200levels and more. The in-depth, imaginative instruction with tech-savvy enhancements will not disappoint.
