Following Yonder Star [Single Use]
A dynamic setting of “We Three Kings of Orient Are” for intermediate pianists
This timeless Christmas carol is always popular because it’s in minor!
The arrangement considers the early intermediate player and keeps mostly 5ths in the left and stays primarily in the E-minor five-finger pattern in the right hand.
Patterns are played in various octaves, which require hand shifts—perhaps the biggest challenge of the piece.
To help players master the lilt of 6/8, I’ve isolated common patterns and collected them in a separate sheet for review.

To help players master the lilt of 6/8, the studio license edition comes with isolated common patterns. They are displayed on a separate sheet for review.
Also, there is another page featuring Teaching Steps which provides details on how I approach teaching this piece.
