Reindeer Craft using Old CDs

Do you struggle to find a holiday gift for students? It’s nice to give them something without blowing your budget.

That’s why I like to give students a holiday ornament craft to make during Off-Bench Time.

The ornament serves as a thank-you gift to their parents for music lessons and something they can hang on their tree every year. (This is a sizable ornament, so it can just be nestled somewhere on a Christmas tree.🎄)

What makes this gift extra special is the QR code that is attached to the ornament. When parents scan the code, they are taken to a private video performance of their pianist playing their holiday piece.

To make things even more special, I’ve created a playlist for each student. The QR code takes parents directly to the playlist, allowing them to enjoy all the recorded videos, from the most recent to the very first. It’s a great way to showcase each student's progress and encourage parents to keep coming back for more lessons!
